Alma is a home visitation program for pregnant parents or caregivers that take care of little ones up to the age of three and live in SW Denver/East Jeffco neighborhoods. Through home visits, Alma community companions work alongside families to practice skills that support family wellbeing, build-up their strengths, and make connections in the community.
This groundbreaking work has forged a portal of access for the community that is responsive, representative, trauma-informed, and delivered with compassion to advance mental health equity in communities of color.
La Cocina provides full access to traditional and non-traditional forms of mental health and health equity support services. Services include mental wellness services, support groups, and child-parent psychotherapy/trauma treatment.
